Prepare a question with a reproducible case
- Minimal case
- Isolate the useful problem.
- Expected result
- Describe the observed difference.
- Reduce the case without making the error disappear.
- Include necessary code as text.
- Rerun the case and record the exact error and expected result.
Fictional example: Mehdi removes layout code from a small application, but the error disappears too. He restores only the necessary part and checks the case. His question explains the expected difference instead of simply saying “it does not work”.
Your useful record: Tested case, environment and expected result, with secrets removed.

Evaluate a technical answer before copying
A community answer must fit your version, environment and problem. Keep its link and test a minimal example. Reusing its text or code also requires respecting the licence applying to that contribution.
- Context
- Compare language, dependencies and error message.
- Date
- Read the answer date and subsequent corrections.
- Licence
- Check the contribution licence through its history.
- Complete example
- Necessary code is supplied as text with relevant components.
