A browser's print version may hide navigation, comments, interactive charts or background colours. A saved PDF is useful for reading, but it is not a complete archive of a live page.
Open the page you need, use the browser's print preview, select a printer or Save to PDF, inspect all pages and keep the original URL with the date you captured it.
Examples to adapt
Check that reference number, price and conditions appear in the saved output.
Interactive labels may disappear; save the source data or a separate note when allowed.
Use a readable layout but confirm that footnotes and references remain visible.

Firefox offers a PDF destination and controls for pages, scale and margins. Simplified formatting, when available, also needs checking.
Does a PDF guarantee a complete site archive?
No. It retains a selected rendering. Interactive menus, content loaded after an action and elements excluded from print may be absent. Record the URL and consultation date.

What to check

Is saving as PDF the same as bookmarking?
No. The PDF freezes one rendering; a bookmark returns to the changing live page.
Can I cite only the PDF?
Prefer the original source URL and publication details, with the saved copy as a trace.
